pre-beatnik, pre-hippy, fruit juice drinking, long haired veggie who
dropped off his "Nature Boy" to Nat King Cole at a theatre
and saw it sell a million in 1948 (it was Cole´s first crossover
hit). Living under the first "L" on Hollywood Hills world
famous sign, he continued to survive on $3 a week. He continued to write
and sing his offbeat music, captured here on DEL-FI´s 1960 release
"Eden´s Island". His bizarre cross of exotica, 50´s
pop, and Beat-era lyricism was probably unintenional genius. His music
was advanced and bewitching, and eveything he did is a must for lovers

FLAMIN GROOVIES: Sixteen Tunes and More. LP/CD
Rare stuff from the first European new wave label SKYDOG, presented
on two slices of deluxe 220 gram vinyl, and CD. The songs are taken
from the 1973 single "Grease", from the 1974 single "More
Grease", from a Dave Edmunds produced 1977 single, and from the
legendary "Goldstar Tapes" recorded at the studios where PHIL
SPECTOR created some of his greatest hits.
FLAMIN GROOVIES: Sneakers 10"
The record that started it all !! Frustrated at the lack of record company
interest in the band, The Flamin´ Groovies decided to make matters
into their own hands and release a record on their own. Thus in 1968
they went into Coast Studios in San Francisco and emerged a little later
with a seven track album, SNEAKERS. The seven songs they recorded were
pressed on a 10", and released on the Groovies´ own Snazz
label. It was distributed around the San Francisco area and sold at
gigs. These days it´s a highly priced collector´s item.
This Munster´s VERY SPECIAL reissue (from the vaults of the Skydog
Archives) comes with same artwork than the original first Snazz Recordings
edition but with the signatures of all our heroes (Roy Loney, Cyril
Jordan, Tim Lynch, George Alexander, and Danny Mihm) on gold ink. And

FLESHTONES: Blast Off ! , LPX (220 gram)
Everybody know THE FLESHTONES have been a major rock&roll authority
for twenty years. They were pioneers in the late 70s and early 80´s,
paying a tribute to the gool ´ol music from the 50´s and
60´s when nobody else was doing it. But... slow down, wait a second!
They are not dead, they´re not a legend fom the glorious past,
there´s no reunion goin´ on!!!! They´re still together
and the new generations still love ´em. They keep playing live
like crazy, giving us rock&roll fans the real nitty gritty (and
free dance lessons), plus they have great albums out every couple of
years on labels such as Epitaph, Telstar, or Amsterdamned. Still, many
consider their two classic albums "ROMAN GODS" and "HEXBREAKER"
from 1982 and 1983 their best records. Almost everybody consider "Roman
Gods" Peter Zaremba and his buddies´ the first Fleshtones
album but... the small indie label ROIR released in 1982 (on cassete
only!) their very first album, recorded in 1978 !!!!!!! The majority
of Fleshtones fans and music lovers in general are still missing this
true gem. We have licensed this great album (all first quality studio
recordings) to allow everybody to know about the very early years of

FLOP: World Of Today. 10"
Special deluxe edition on white vinyl (10") of the third long player
of Seattle´s kinkesque combo. Along with the sixties these guys
love the 70s (Buzzcocks, Undertones), and they made their best LP before
quitting. If you don´t know the band you are missing something

KIM FOWLEY: Animal God of the Streets, LP (220gram)/CD
Kim Fowley was possibly the coolest guy in L.A. in the sixties. Writer,
arranger, producer, singer, musician, etc etc. He’s got more than
50 Gold Records on the walls of his Beverly Hills mansion !! He worked
with The Byrds, Frank Zappa, and anyone else who made a record worth
listening to in the sixties ! The songs on ANIMAL GOD OF THE STREETS
were recorded in New Zealand between 1969-1971, with all vocals and
instruments by Kim , who also did the recording, engineering, and production.

RICHARD HELL: Destiny Street, LPX 220 gram,
Richard Hell´s first LP, the classic BLANK GENERATION, still sounds
startling and urgent but not until master guitarists Robert Quine and
Naux plus drummer Fred Maher joined the Voidoids and recorded Hell´s
critically acclaimed DESTINY STREET follow-up did Hell find sympahetic
associates for his talent. His DESTINY STREET LP is a collection of
some of Hell´s most brilliant work. Two terrific covers (Them´s
"I Can Only Give You Everything" and Dylan´s "Going
Going Gone") display Hell´s uncanny visceral intensity and

This sounds much more to THE STOOGES than the Sideburns who are known
for their manic Sonics-style assault. Jack meatbeat have been together,
playing, and releasing records for at least five years, so do not fear
it´s one more viking band jumping on the bandwagon of the Scandinavian
Rock. JACK MEATBEAT AND THE UNDERGROUND SOCIETY are somehow on standby
because of the Flamin´ Sideburns success and busy schedule, but
still they are one of the best live bands you can find up there in the
land of the midnight sun. And this full length proves they can translate
their energy and electricity onto wax and make everybody shit their

SCREAMING LORD SUTCH: Munster Rock! LP 220 gram / CD.
Dave "SCREAMING LORD SUTCH" Sutch, musician, broadcaster and,
most famously MONSTER RAVING LOONY PARTY chairman, was found dead last
year at his home in Harrow, UK, having comitted suicide. Sutch, who
had delighted fans for decades with his publicity minded antics, horror
themed rock and roll and political tom-foolery will be greatly missed.
What we offer you here is our tribute to SCREAMING LORD SUTCH, in the
form of a compilation LP (on 220 gram vinyl) and CD (that includes a
free poster) of some of his hits and rare recordings. Liner notes by

Kurt Bloch is the producer, and the songs are fast and catchy like in

Great all girl band from New Jersey. Combining pop, surf, garage, and
rock&roll, they can be compared to The Ronettes singing with the

Smack had a huge influence on bands like Guns’N’Roses, Nirvana,
and Mudhoney. Blood, sweat and shit on stage. Real stuff. That’s
what Smack offered on their live gigs. SMACK ON YOU was originally released

Some peope thinks we are releasing too many Johnny Thunders related
material... We could waste lines and lines and we wouldn´t convince
them of the greatness of JT, so we´ll just say... FU and will
let them stay in the darkness of their ignorance. We (and thousands
of Johnny´s hardcore fans) don´t care. He deserves the reverence
his leyend has, and almost all of his recordings are more REAL and soul-touching
than anything most bands today will ever do. What we offer now is a
live recording from 1987. The band here is no less than three New York
Dolls (Johnny, Arthur "Killer" Kane, and Jerry Nolan) plus

This artefact, originally released in 1983, consists of a studio recorded,
5 track 12", plus a live album.. Reunited on both with fellow ex-Heartbreaker,
Walter Lure, the studio sessions were produced by Johnny with the help
of the legendary Rolling Stones producer, Jimmy Miller. The latter sessions
yielded a mix of rockers and "heart-of-sleeve" confessionals

circa 1983. Recorded in Paris, France. This gem includes Johnny Thunders

A legendary Spanish band. The Spanish Cramps. We have put together their
first and best record "Golpe Tras Golpe" along with their
first demo tape some people thinks is even better than any of the records

ELEPHANT BAND: Chocolate Factory, LP/CD
Check out this amazing band if you´re into classic MOD stuff of
the late sixties. You´ve probably heard this before, but these
guys sound like the best Small Faces !!! OK, ok, that´s OLD suff
and the kids don´t know them (??) what about a GOOD version of
Ocean Colour Scene? Anyway... Elephant Band have a strong sixties´
pop sensibility, and a subtle psychedelic aproach to their swirling
melodies. Their first full length "For Cold Days " on Animal
Records is totally out of print, but rang all the bells in Mod-dom (they
played everywhere, from Germany to the Isle of Wight !!). Now this is
their second album, and here you can catch them at their peak.
LOS GOLDEN ZOMBIES: The 24 Kilate Sound Of... 10"/CD
These four handsome lads from Madrid are amongst the very best of the
new bands coming out of the country, and what´s more important...
they are truly unique! No, they are not another Hellacopters copycats!!!
These ultra-suave caballeros deliver the best instrumental moods Spain
has ever heard. The rhythm section comes from Los Nitros, a fab surf
combo that released an excellent 10" three years ago. The guitar
slinger Mike Sobieski is well known for his savage playing with the
Pleasure Fuckers and The Sin City Six, though his licks and riffs for
LOS GOLDEN ZOMBIES remind one more of James Burton and Steve Cropper
(no less!). And last but not least, the organ player, who is probably
the main atraction here. He also plays with Los Imposibles and The Tuna
Tacos, and his flamboyant and virtuoso Jimmy Smith / Booker T stylings
will sure leave you breathless. Check them out on this nine song debut
record!
