Loads of great jazzy playing, including the massive two part "Joe Cuba's Madness", a real jam session. One of Joe's slammin post-boogaloo albums -- with great production, a very soulful vibe, and a good hard sound throughout! The set's as groundbreaking as Joe's work ever was -- with a strong mix of Latin jazz styles, touched by some uptown soul and all the tight small-combo grooving that Joe could always provide. A nice groover, and not that easy to find!
