Munster Records is proud to release the new album by MERMAID, one of the toughest and more proffesional ROCK bands in Spain. They are no newcomers, they have already proved who they are: Considered the most promising band in the country, they have played big festivals and opened the spanish shows of bands like QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, ZEN GUERRILLA, GLUECIFER, MAN OR ASTROMAN?, etc.
And now here it is, their third and best to date album, with shorter songs with a hard-rock flavour, without forgetting their Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Hendrix or Black Sabbath etc. influences. They are not your tipical STONER band. They mix the density of the heavy guitars and slow-mid tempos with some faster beats which will appeal both the KYUSS, QOTSA, FU MANCHU, the punkier side of the Scandinavian hordes of HELLACOPTERS; TURBONEGRO and GLUECIFER, and the heavier riffs of the classic hard rock pioneers BLUE CHEER and such.
