Their
songs constantly threaten danger and they stay together as each
one explodes. They are absolute warped lunacy. Their two full-length
albums showcase the wreckless world they live in. Even in their
recordings SUICIDE KING captured the aggressive fury of their, now
famous, live shows. If Motorhead and the Dead Boys were ever thrown
into a blender, made into a spicy paste, all you had to do is sprinkle
on a little Johnny Thunders powder and there it would be ... SUICIDE
KING.
SUICIDE KING IS:
4-Way - Vocals. After years of touring, fighting and drinking
with Bad Posture, 4Way left for college and became an English teacher.
Years later he struggled through some disastrous gigs until he found
the right line up for what it is SUICIDE KING today. History: Bad
Posture, SF/NYC, Ditch Witch.
Nick Marden - Bass. He traded some herb for his first bass
in 1976 and spents his nights palying along with the punk rock shows
on the radio. Nick grew up in California and migrated East to New
York City in 1979. History: X-Mau-Maus, Even Worse, Stimulators,
Tommy Dog, Blow Torch Boys, Porno Dracula, Deans of Discipline,
Scab, Jungle Book, False Prophets, Bulldozer, Letch Patrol, Fur.
Shige - Guitar. Born in Japan, Shige moved to New York City
with his Hipnips band mates in 1989. When he later joined SUICIDE
KING, the band loved his sound so much that they refuse to let him
leave. History: The Hipnips.
Chip English - Drums. She started playing when she was just
12 old. Her years with the Luinachicks took her on tours that circled
the globe and together they recorded various singles, 5 LPs and
2 Eps. History: The Tomboys, Lunachicks, 1-900 BOX, Joey Ramone's
Resistance.
