Their two first 7" EPs on a special gatefold 2x7" pack, with original artwork and inserts!!! LOS NIKIS were one of the best and funniest spanish "Ramones type" band ever. Singles originally (self)released by the band and the TicTac label, but then immediately licensed and brought to fame by the Lollipop label in 1983.

The package of this sensational edition shows the original cover art of those early TicTac singles (totally different from the better known later Lollipop covers), comes with liner notes by Mondo Brutto editors (in spanish), and with the original insert flyers too. And of course contains the 8 tracks of both EPs.

In 1981 they recorded two demotapes, one for an (still unrevealed!) English label and one for Pamplona´s Tic Tac. This one comes out later as their first 7" EP, a 500 copy limited edition promo only 7" that they give away at a sold out at Chaminade College. The record had four unbeatable winners about the "chinese threat", a sicko named "Ernesto" who liked to throw objects from his window, nuclear medicine, and dirty business. Important stuff, you know! Their second EP, also for Tic-Tac in 1982, had four more gems, probably the best Ramones punk-pop styled tracks ever waxed in Spanish! "Vengeance", "Blood at the wax museum", "Gammaglobuline", and "Passion for the decibels". Both singles repressed by Lollipop (with different jackets) in 1983.

Once known as "los Ramones de Algete" (this place being a suburb close to Madrid´s airport), LOS NIKIS were the most hedonistic and fun punkpop band of the era, and if they would have hailed from the UK, they would be as legendary as The Buzcocks or The Undertones!
