Here we present the mythical album from the Venezuela band, pre-Impala Syndrome, recorded for the Marfer label soon after settling in Madrid. A dozen songs combining the best genres of the time; Blue Eyed-Soul, Beat and Garage. In those days, the best night clubs all over Spain housed their bustling performances. The most talked about show of all took place at the huge stage of the Madrid Sports Arena back in ‘67, where Los Impala, together with other celebrity music artists, earned by popular vote the right to play at the Idols Festival. It was 1968 when, thanks to their “TAXI” track, they achieved a new record in popularity in Spain; and so they did in their native Venezuela, the reason why they decided to go back home.
