Los Mac’s were formed in Valparaiso, Chile, in 1962 by the Mc Iver brothers. They soon moved to Santiago, where Willy Morales and Eric Franklin joined the band. “Kaleidoscope Men” (1967) was their third album and they consider it “The best psychedelic album ever produced in Chile” –and as soon as you listen to it you will have to agree with them. Influenced by Sgt. Pepper’s as much as by Marihuana, with a superb production and a band musically skilled and ready to go one step beyond, this is a MUST-HAVE album for any 60’s music lover.
